Semifinalists picked for schools Classified Employee of the Year

Ten semifinalists have been chosen for the Classified Employee of the Year award. The award’s selection committee will interview the semifinalists before choosing four finalists this spring.

This is the fourth year the award has been given. Last year’s winner was Denise McCoy, the home-school coordinator at Konnoak Elementary School.

The semifinalists are: Damian Anderson, a kindergarten assistant at Mineral Springs Elementary School; Ann Epperson, the lead secretary at Moore Magnet School; Melinda Evans, the lead secretary at Cash Elementary School; Norma Jean Ford, a primary reading teacher assistant at Cash Elementary School; Sharon Landreth, a secretary at Piney Grove Elementary School; Ann Niten, the lead secretary at Northwest Middle School; Elaine Sapp, a secretary at East Forsyth Middle School; Brian Smith, an in-school-suspension assistant at Walkertown High School; Lou Ann Spell, a secretary at The Children’s Center; and Marion Tuttle, the lead secretary at the Career Center.
