Rosalind Fuse-Hall has been selected as the 17th president of Bennett College. She will succeed Dr. Esther Terry, who has headed the Greensboro school since President Dr. Julianne Malveaux stepped down a year ago, on July 1, 2013.

Fuse-Hall has nearly 25 years of experience in higher education that includes serving as chief of staff to Florida A&M University President James Ammons and interim executive director of Title III Programs at FAMU. She has also served as executive assistant to the chancellor at North Carolina Central University; the corporate secretary to the UNC Board of Governors; associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill; and director of minority affairs at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

Fuse-Hall is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Rutgers School of Law. She began her professional career as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable William H. Walls and was a staff attorney in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the New York Regional Office.

She is married to Dr. Jarvis Hall, an associate professor at NCCU. They are the parents of Ifetoya, a graduating senior at UNC Chapel Hill.
