I would like to encourage readers living in the Northwest Ward to vote for Jeff MacIntosh in the Democratic Primary on September 10th. I met Jeff through his work with the downtown neighborhood — Holly Avenue. He helped renovate and save many houses in the area that have become homes for many families. He also was involved in the renovation of several homes in the North Cherry Street area that played a part in helping that neighborhood to be more beautiful and safe.
We need neighborhood advocates to be on the City Council. More importantly, we need advocates that have already proven they listen and proven that they are committed to our affordable housing needs and safe communities.
