Democratic Women to host voting rally
Forsyth County Democratic Women will host a rally to educate and inform voters about the importance of the upcoming election in November and next year’s midterms. The rally, “Remember in November: The Too Much To Lose Tuesday,” will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Milton Rhodes Center, 251 N. Spruce St., from 6–8 p.m.
Judge Denise Hartsfield will be the host, and former Senator Linda Garrou, along with other speakers, will address women’s and educational issues.
There will be an opportunity to register to vote during the event, during which light refreshments will be served and music will be provided by a local DJ. The rally is open to both men and women.

Forsyth County Democratic Women encourage all women to participate in the work of their Party as a public service, and to participate in community service that promotes the well-being of women and children.
The group promotes friendship and cooperation among Democratic women of Forsyth County and all counties in North Carolina and encourage qualified Democratic women to seek public office at the local, state and national levels.
