The Winston-Salem Chronicle is sponsoring a free presentation for nonprofits, including churches, on Oct. 1 called News Media 101: Getting Your Message Across from 10 a.m. to noon at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4129 Northampton Drive, Winston-Salem. A continental breakfast will be served.
People should register by sending his or her full name, the nonprofit organization he or she is representing, cell phone number (home or nonprofit phone number if the person doesn’t have a cell phone) and email address to letters@wschronicle.com. Please put in the subject field “Registering for News Media 101.”
The deadline for registration is Sept. 16.
