Talk to older black Americans and they can tell you some tales about voting under Jim Crow, which was in the 20th century. They can tell you about the voter suppression designed to keep black people from voting, such as having to say how many things were in a jar – name your item – before they could even register to vote.

This is the 21st century, and the powers that be are still trying to suppress voting, but now more than black people are targets. It seems that people who don’t look like, or act like or in the past voted like Republicans are targets.

We need to remember people died for our right to vote. Our right to vote is in the U.S. Constitution, but the powers that be have found ways to work around that minor detail.

Don’t let the voter suppressors win!
