Black Is Beautiful Bridal Show to debut on Saturday at The Enterprise Conference Center
Weddings are a wonderful time for family and friends. It’s also a great opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate.
The Buy Black Guide, S.G. Atkins Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit 501c3 organization, and Pretty Southern Soul Catering have partnered to bring to the Triad the Black Is Beautiful Bridal Show, on
Saturday, May 7, at The Enterprise Conference and Event Center from 12-4 p.m.
The bridal show is designed to exclusively showcase Black-owned businesses and serves as a platform demonstrating the diverse world of Black owned and created brands for brides and grooms who are making plans for their wedding day.
During the event, attendees will be able to see beautiful displays, meet face to face with wedding vendors, participate in giveaways, and experience the elegance of that special day with two bridal fashion shows that will feature beautiful bridal designs from Gavin Christianson Bridal, a Black-owned bridal shop in Durham.
A bridal show highlight for the groom will feature a “man cave.” The cave will include newly-created colognes, cigars, wedding clothing attire, and more entertainment.
The Enterprise Center is a business incubator with over 95% of its 45 offices being small Black-owned businesses and is a fitting location for the Black is Beautiful Bridal Show, says Patricia Degraffinreaidt, event and conference manager.
Tickets are still available at Eventbrite for $10 at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/black-is beautiful-bridal-show-tickets-267671421427.
Tickets at the door are $20. For more information, contact Patricia Degraffinreaidt, 336-734-6916, or Temoura Jeffries, 336-899-9557.
