Novant Health recently made access to urology and weight-loss specialty care services more convenient for patients in and around Rural Hall. The new clinics, Novant Health Urology – Rural Hall and Novant Health Bariatric Solutions – Rural Hall, share a space at 648 Almondridge Drive, near the intersection of Northridge Park Drive and Bethania-Rural Hall Road.

“Our goal is to bring specialty care services closer to home for our patients,” said Dr. Stan Fuller, system physician executive, Novant Health Surgical Institute. “Previously, patients in this area had to travel to Kernersville or Winston-Salem to receive care for either of these services – not anymore. Frankly, we know that urologic conditions can be painful, embarrassing and often require multiple follow-up visits. We also know that nearly half of North Carolinians are obese, and many are looking for safe weight-loss solutions to help them lead healthier lives. Now these services are available in Rural Hall, and patients can take comfort in knowing that our clinicians will work alongside their local primary care providers to offer truly comprehensive care.”

Novant Health Urology – Rural Hall is open Mondays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic specializes in treating common conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs) and erectile dysfunction, as well as complex concerns including bladder or prostate cancer. Novant Health Bariatric Solutions Rural Hall is open Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic offers nutrition and weight-loss counseling, medical weight management services, and pre/postsurgical consultations.
