City operations changes for Good Friday

This Friday, April 18, all Winston-Salem city offices will be closed in celebration of Good Friday. The city’s citizen service call center, CityLink, will remain staffed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Garbage collections set for Friday, April 18 will now be rescheduled for Monday, April 21. Recycling and yard waste collections will not be affected. The Hanes Mill Road Solid Waste Facility located at 325 W. Hanes Mill Road will operate from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The following solid waste facilities will be closed:
*The Old Salisbury Road Landfill, 3336 Old Salisbury Road
*Overdale Road Yard Waste Facility, 4010 Old Milwaukee Lane
*Forum 52 Yard Waste Facility, 180 Northstar Dr. in Rural Hall
*3RC EnviroStation, 1401 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., will be closed both Friday and Saturday.
