The Potter’s House has been a staple in East Winston for over two decades. The ministry serves the community with food, clothing and biblical teachings. With the passing of co-founder Rev. John Young in May, his wife and co-founder, Pansy, is looking to continue his legacy with her work with the Potter’s House.

Friedberg Moravian Church in Winston Salem is sporting a pair of beautiful new organ pipes that were recently installed, the first GLASS organ pipes in the world in a congregational setting.
The people of Lloyd Presbyterian Church are celebrating their 150th anniversary. The church was chartered through Yadkin Presbytery in 1870. It began in the Citizen’s Hall schoolhouse where the current church stands today and was once called the Negro Church of Winston.
