Centenarians invited to special luncheon

Winston-Salem residents who are or will be 100 years old in 2013 are invited to a Centenarian Luncheon being held Friday, May 10, as part of the Winston-Salem Centennial Celebration.
The program will include the Snappy Tappers tap dancers, the Dixieland Jazz Band and remarks by Mike Wells, a local attorney. The oldest centenarian will be recognized and all centenarians will receive a personalized proclamation from Mayor Allen Joines.
Admission will be by invitation only and each centenarian may bring up to three guests.
