D.C. pastor visiting Bethlehem
Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church will welcome Dr. John Rhodes Sr. and the congregation of Trinidad Baptist Church of Washington, D.C. during its 11 a.m. morning worship service on Sunday, March 9.
Rhodes was born in Memphis and attended Lane College, where he earned a BA degree in religion and philosophy. He also has a Master of Divinity degree from Richmond Virginia Seminary and a doctorate.
The pastor of Trinidad Baptist since June 1999, Rhodes is a member of the Missionary Baptist Ministers Conference of DC and Vicinity, a group he formerly led as president. A strong advocate for Christian education, he has also served as the president of the Baptist Educational Congress of DC and Vicinity. Dr. Rhodes is ably assisted in his work by his devoted wife Elizabeth and their three children.
The public is cordially invited to attend this service. The church, located at 1711 N. Claremont Ave., is led by Pastor L. Dwight Hash Sr.
