Delta Arts Center quilt exhibit on display through Dec. 31
Delta Arts Center held an opening reception on Oct. 17 for its new quilt exhibit, “Friendships: Colors of Life,” which celebrates the artistry of quilting and the connections it fosters among us all. The evening included an artist talk that offered deeper insights into the world of quilting.
This exhibition honors the rich tradition of quilting, showcasing the dedication of various quilters who create quilts for important causes, including disaster relief. The exhibit features works by several artists, enriching the narrative of quilting across generations.
Whitney Harness, executive director of Delta Arts Center, said, “I am truly excited to unveil the ‘Friendships: Colors of Life’ exhibition at this pivotal time of year.
