FCDP hosts Evening with County Commissioners

Last week the Forsyth County Democratic Women invited the community to spend the evening in conversation with County Commissioners Malishai ‘Shai’ Woodbury, Tonya McDaniel, and Dan Besse.
During the event held at the Forsyth County Democratic Party headquarters, 723 Coliseum Dr., Woodbury, McDaniel and Besse, who are all Democrats, sat down with citizens to discuss a number of topics including the budget process, funding for local schools, the future of Ashley Elementary, the commissioners meeting schedule, and several other topics. Those in attendance also had the chance to ask questions.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is the governing body of Forsyth County. Commissioners Woodbury and McDaniel represent District A on the board of commissioners, which includes most of the area within the Winston-Salem city limits. Commissioner Besse holds an at-large seat on the board.
