Established in December of 2020 by Brittiany Jenkins, Flawlesskin Company, located at 1365 Westgate Center Drive, Suite C2, in Winston-Salem, focuses on oncology skincare challenges. Jenkins explained, “The inspiration behind The Flawlesskin Company stems from my personal experiences with family members who have faced cancer, especially my mother. Her journey left a profound impact on me. She was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was just eight years old and underwent a mastectomy that left a noticeable scar.

“Even years later, when she faced ovarian and colon cancer, the effects of chemotherapy – hair loss and skin challenges – were incredibly difficult for her. Witnessing her struggles motivated me to focus on oncology skincare, with the goal of helping others navigate these challenges and restore confidence in their skin and appearance.”

Flawlesskin’s focus on helping cancer patients with their uniquely individual skincare issues sets them apart from most skincare or beauty spas. Jenkins said, “What distinguishes The Flawlesskin Company is our specialization in oncology-safe skincare, catering to individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments. We offer personalized treatments for facials, eyebrow grooming, and makeup services, addressing unique skin needs resulting from chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. Our approach, combining traditional and holistic therapies, aims to soothe the skin and help clients rediscover their sense of self-worth.”

Jenkins also mentioned what makes her work special to her. “The most rewarding aspect of the business is witnessing clients regain confidence and embrace their natural beauty. Providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals facing significant skin changes during cancer treatment, and seeing the positive impact on their mental well-being, brings me great satisfaction.”

Jenkins has received accolades for her service to cancer patients. She said, “A particularly proud moment was receiving the Wells Fargo Emerging Woman Entrepreneur Award in October 2024. This recognition, accompanied by a $5,000 grant, acknowledged our dedication to serving cancer patients and our innovative approach to skincare. Such accolades affirm the impact of our work and inspire continued commitment to the community.”

Sharing her goals for the future, Jenkins said, “We plan to expand our services to include permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing, which will include nano brows, areola restoration, and surgical scar camouflage.

“Additionally, we will begin offering continued education to medical professionals, furthering the mission of providing comprehensive care to the oncology community.”
