The University of North Carolina School of the Arts-based Jia Quartet (Dustin Wilkes-Kim, Amber Wang,  Maura Shawn Scanlin and Sarah Huesman) is gearing up to compete in the Fischoff, the nation’s largest chamber music competition, later this month at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. The Jia Quartet auditioned via videotape. For the competition, they will perform works by Haydn, Beethoven and Debussy.
