Ishi Pentecostal Temple is hosting a College & University Inspiration Fest on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. to inspire Winston-Salem area students to have the best year they’ve ever experienced! Considering the many challenges our nation’s youth have faced in recent years (and now even days), from outside campus attacks to deepening internal personal struggles, encouragement, empowerment, and inspiration from all sources are more critical than ever.

Councilmember Annette Scippio will again assist us in this bestowing of honor with words of inspiration, along with nationally renowned author, recording artist and speaker Bishop Charles H. Ellis III. 

Students from Winston-Salem State University, Wake Forest University, Salem College and Forsyth Technical Community College are all confirmed to attend. The Inspirational Voices of Winston Salem State University Gospel Choir will present uplifting musical selections. 

Immediately following the one-hour event, there will be special inspirational tours from our next door neighbors at Fire Station No. 4, who will share with students the challenges faced by North Carolina’s first integrated firehouse. 

We believe this is a timely event that will offer a contagious dose of inspiration to anyone who is in need of an uplifting of their spirit.
