Locals graduate from theology school
Apex School of Theology held its 2013 Commencement on May 18 at 10 a.m. at Summit Church in Durham.
Elder Solomon “Gus” Green of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church of Winston-Salem received his Master of Divinity; Evangelist Toni Lowe, an Associate Minister of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Walkertown received her Master of Divinity; and Annie L. Martin of Praise Assembly Church Ministry, Inc. of Winston-Salem received her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling.
Durham Mayor William “Bill” Bell attended the ceremony. He is a classmate of Elder Green’s. Both men graduated from Atkins High School in 1958.
The Rev. Dr. J. E. Perkins is Founder and President of Apex School of Theology.
