Military Achievements
Air Force Airman 1st Class Clayton D. Ayers graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Norman Ayers of Winston-Salem and a 2010 graduate of West Forsyth High School.
Army Private First Class Christine D. Watson has graduated from One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo., which included basic military training and advanced individual training (AIT).
During basic military training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons qualification, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army doctrine, history, principles and traditions.
During AIT, the soldier completed the military police specialist course to acquire skills to provide combat area support, conduct battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations and law and order operations.
Watson is the daughter of Sherry Childers and stepdaughter of Jimmy Childers of Greensboro. Her husband, Ryan Wittmann, is the son of Christopher and Kelly Wittmann of Kernersville. She is a 2012 graduate of East Forsyth High School.
Army National Guard Pfc. Brianna N. Molaro has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Molaro is the daughter of Gregory Molaro of Lewisville. She is a 2012 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School.
