Police and lawyers give backpacks

Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law, and the Winston-Salem Police Department joined forces this year to distribute over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to five local elementary schools on Thursday, Aug. 20.
This is the first year of this program.
The backpacks were distributed to Whitaker, South Fork, Moore, Bolton and Brunson elementaries.
