The Winston-Salem Street School is excited to welcome 76 high school and 43 young adult program students through their doors during the first week of the 2024-25 school year.
History was made a few months ago at Goler Metropolitan AME Zion Church when Rev. Dr. Tressala Hicklin delivered her first sermon as pastor, making her the first woman to lead the historic church.
On Saturday, Aug, 3, the Ms. Senior Forsyth County Pageant held its inaugural event at Mount Carmel Methodist Church, 4265 Ebert Road, in Winston-Salem.
The Quality Aging Conference, in partnership with the Senior Services Age-Friendly Forsyth initiative, will hold their conference on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, 114 W. 30th Street.
