Prime Choice Physical Therapy, LLC, helps individuals return to a pain-free active lifestyle
Dr. Ayana Graham opened Prime Choice Physical Therapy, LLC, located at 7820 North Point Blvd., Suite 107, in October 2021. She writes about what prompted her to start her own business: “I was tired of corporate goals that I felt did not align with what was best for my patients and myself. I opened my own physical therapy business so that I could provide the caring and individualized care that my patients deserve.”
There are many ways that Prime Choice Physical Therapy, LLC, differs from other physical therapy clinics. One is that you don’t need a physician’s referral to receive treatment. They do not accept insurance, which decreases the “red tape” in receiving physical therapy treatment, which may not allow for multiple visits per week, a restriction of some insurance companies. Patients at Prime Choice Physical Therapy, LLC can make follow-up appointments as often as necessary – from multiple visits per week, to every other week, once a month, or whenever the need arises. Dr. Graham is also flexible, working to accommodate patients who have busy schedules.
In addition, Dr. Graham gives that one-on-one attention to her patients that most big clinics cannot offer. ”I enjoy the journey of helping people reach their goals,” said Dr. Graham. “Whether it is to return to sports, decrease pain, or help older adults improve mobility, I love the way my patients’ eyes light up and the smiles on their faces when they tell me their stories of triumph.”
It’s those patients’ success stories that make her proud of her work as a physical therapist. “When the young sprinter who has had trouble with hamstring spasms is able to reach their personal record; when a musician with shoulder and elbow pain is able to continue playing their instrument with less pain; when a powerlifter achieves his goal of lifting over 500 lbs. in competition in his 50s; when an older adult improves in strength, balance and independence, it makes me proud and I remember why I wanted to become a physical therapist in the first place.”
