QEA hosts two HUGE games next week
QEA basketball will play in their two biggest games of the season next week. At least twenty Collegiate Division I recruited high-school players will grace the Quality Education Academy home court during the course of the week.
Thursday, February 13- QEA will face the Carlisle School (Martinsville, VA.) featuring No. 1 recruited/ranked High-School player in the class of 2016- in 7-foot Thon Maker. Maker and QEA’s 6’11 center, Ibrahima Diallo, will face off as two of the best big men in the Southeast. Carlisle School also features the outstanding point guard play of Eric Johnson (6’3). The Pharaohs’ own point guard, Imani Miller will try to best Johnson again, after QEA escaped with a six point victory versus Carlisle two weeks ago.
Saturday, February 15- QEA will defend its home court by facing NCHSAA Conference rival, Word of God (Raleigh, NC). The match is billed as the ‘two best Christian private schools in the state’, going heads up. Word of God Head Coach, Quinton Jackson Sr., is former North Carolina State University player, and his son, Quinton Jackson Jr. will try to lead Word of God to an important win against QEA.
