The Quality Aging Conference, in partnership with the Senior Services Age-Friendly Forsyth initiative, will hold their conference on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, 114 W. 30th Street. Seniors and caregivers are invited to this free event to receive resources and information on living independently and maintaining the highest quality of life possible.

Event details:

*This one-day event will feature 3 general sessions for all participants and offer a choice of 4 options during 3 workshop sessions to be selected by participants.

*Vendors serving the aging community will be available to attendees, providing information, services, and resources.

New – A Spanish track will be available as one of the options for each of the 3 workshop sessions. Additionally, vendors which provide services to the Hispanic/Latino community will be present.

*Beverage service will be available throughout the day and a lunch will be provided for all participants free of charge.

Registration – Space is limited so all are encouraged to register as soon as possible on a first-come, first-served basis. Those needing assistance with the online registration or for questions about the event, please call Forsyth County Department of Social Services Adult Services Division at 336-703-3501.

The registration form will allow registrants the opportunity to indicate preference for workshop selections, but participants will not be required to attend the indicated selections.

Submission of online registration does not confirm the registrant of space at this event. All those submitting a registration form will be contacted (via phone) to confirm registration status prior to the conference. Once event seating capacity has been reached registrants may choose to be placed on a waiting list if/as openings may occur.
