The Interdenominational Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Vicinity journeyed to Rocky Mount for the 69th annual North Carolina State Convention on Sunday, April 7.
On Tuesday, March 5, Mayor Allen Joines collaborated with the Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem & Vicinity’s Economic Development Committee to host the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
This past Sunday, January 27, the Ministers’ Conference held their installation service to officially bring in the new officers to their respective positions.
The Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity (MCWSV) held their annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship service at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Monday, January 21.
It has been a mission for the conference to invest in the lives of the local youth for many years now. Hundreds of students have benefited from the scholarships over the years.
On Saturday, Dec. 8, Mayor Allen Joines and the City of Winston-Salem, in collaboration with Diggs Memorial United Holiness Church, will host an appreciation banquet for Rev. Dr. Lamonte Williams.
Elder Tembila Covington was voted in as the new president of the Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity.
The Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity (MCWSV), in collaboration with Love out Loud, The New Canaan Society and others, sent 20 pallets of bottled water to Hurricane Florence victims
