Open enrollment for 2018 health insurance began on Nov. 1, just weeks after President Donald Trump took action to end Affordable Healthcare Act subsidies.
According to an Oct. 30 release from the N.C. Dept. of Insurance Monday, the enrollment period, now underway, ends on Dec. 15 for coverage through the 2018 Federal Health Insurance Exchange to begin Jan. 1, 2018.
