From June 20 to July 25, almost 50 children at the W. R. Anderson Center, the 14th Street Community Center and Ephesus Junior Academy benefited from one-hour sessions three days a week.

Forsyth Technical Community College (FTCC) and Crosby Scholars joined forces to host a computer camp for the young men currently enrolled in the African American Males Pursuing Education Dreams (AAMPED) program.

This year the AAMPED program is making sure young men in the community are staying sharp during summer break with its first Math I Camp.
Instructors and Elders of the Kemet Academy Summer Camp completed the first week of classes, which began on June 13 and will continue until Aug. 18. The program lasts from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
