TCO girls give back
The girls of Twin City Outreach realize the importance of giving back to the community. Since February, the girls have been volunteering once a month at the Ronald McDonald House on Hawthorne Road.
They began their community service at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH), a home away from home for children (and their families) receiving medical treatment at local hospitals, supplying baked goods for residents and doing household chores. For Easter, they created gift baskets for the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In April, they collected soda can tabs for a RMH fundraiser, and in May, they created flower pots for moms residing at the house for Mother’s Day.
Twin City Outreach’s mission is to build strong girls by engaging them in community initiatives.
