We are excited about our upcoming Unity in the Community three-day fall festival, beginning Friday, Sept. 27, through Sunday, Sept. 29.  

On Friday, Sept. 27,  4-6 p.m.: Place your orders for a fried fish plate cooked to order, while you enjoy a soothing atmosphere of music and laughter. You don’t want to miss our very own celebrity guests: LaShunda Booker with Life Love Inspires Forever Spoken Word and mistress of ceremony; Dion W. Fowler, GodsComic. 

There will be various vendors on site: Kingdom Bling by Sheila Miller; Paparazzi accessories; Johnson’s Joy’s bringing you all your DIY home essentials; and Forsyth County Dept. of Social Services providing foster care information.  

On Saturday, Sept. 28, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Bring the entire family out early and place your orders for a BBQ rib and/or chicken plate while you enjoy an atmosphere with a kids-friendly zone, music, raffle drawings, and laughter.

You definitely don’t want to miss our center stage attractions: Comedian Crazy Carla Simpson, Kruzen band, HYPE Line Dance, soloist Diana Tuffin, and High Country Cloggers. There will be various vendors on site: Kingdom Bling by Sheila Miller;  Paparazzi accessories;  Johnson’s Joy’s bringing you all your DIY home essentials; Forsyth County Dept. of Social Services with foster care information, Second Harvest Food Bank; and Arletha Leonard and Makahla Collins (Sweet Natured) for those with a sweet tooth.  

On Sunday, Sept. 29: FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY! Come worship on the lawn at 10:30 a.m. For more information, please call 336-602-2593. The festival will be held at Word of Truth International Life Center located at 3806 Community Road.
