This year 29 groups participated in the program and maintained 40 flower beds. Under the program, the city supplies annual flowers to the groups which agree to plant them in beds in public areas that they maintain over the spring and summer.  The city helps water the beds and provides mulch. Every year representatives from KWSB and the council inspect the beds during the course of the summer and recognize the best maintained beds.
