Joyful sound returning to the Fair

Gospel Fest is returning to the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds on Sunday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 13 from 3 – 6 p.m.
A different slate of gospel performers will hit the stage at the Clock Tower on each of the Sundays. Sponsored by The Chronicle, Gospel Fest will feature performers from throughout the Triad.
The performers confirmed for Oct. 6 are CTC Worship and Willie Mason & Friends of Winston-Salem; Benjamin’s Truth, Todd Curry & FOCUS and Dionn Owens & Renaissance of Greensboro; Anthony Douglas & Zeal of High Point; Minister Dewitt (aka Smooth D) of Burlington; and Bishop Stephen Williams of Clemmons.
The performers on Oct. 13 will be the St. Paul United Methodist Church New Mass Choir, The Gatekeeperz, Mischeal Goldsmith & SOUL OUT, Stanley Johnson, the Bishop John Heath & Greater Higher Ground Mass Choir, CaMari Jeter, Pastor Grosjean Stephens & Nu Sound and Peace of Mind, all of Winston-Salem, along with High Point’s Alexis Pegues and Greensboro’s Love & Faith Christian Fellowship Mass Choir.
Gospel Fest is free with fair admission. Actress/comedienne Debra Terry and Carmen Russell of Russell Funeral Home will serve as emcees.
