Video games used to be just child’s play. Now they are big business not only for the developers, but also for the players. Recognizing their relevance in education, Winston-Salem Christian School has brought a STEM program to their school for their students to enhance their skills.
The golf tournament presented by The Robinson Group at the Winston Lake Golf Course turned out very well according to sponsors. The tournament took place on Oct. 10 and the winning team was from the Truth Network, followed by teams from Cahill & Swain and the team from Shaw University’s Men’s basketball team.
Glenn High School has been on the hunt for a girls’ basketball coach ever since Melvin Heggie resigned and took the same position at Quality Education Academy (QEA). After an extensive search, the Bobcats have chosen Vontreece Hayes to take over the program.
