Bank OZK opens new office in Winston-Salem
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS – Bank OZK (NASDAQ: OZK) held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Sept. 17, for a newly constructed banking office at 1230 Creekshire Way. The ceremony was coordinated by the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce and featured Mayor Allen Joines, as well as Chamber CEO Mark Owens and Bank OZK Winston-Salem Market President Joe Carroll.
Situated in the growing Hanes Mall retail corridor, the new Winston-Salem banking office has 10,334 square feet of office space and includes four teller windows, 18 offices, safe deposit boxes, two drive-thru banking lanes and a drive-thru ATM. The building was designed by Progressive|AE of Charlotte and built by Fourth Elm Construction of Kernersville.
“With Bank OZK’s new regional office, our facility will provide space for future growth,” Carroll said. “Bank OZK is conveniently located for clients throughout Winston-Salem and western Forsyth County. Our innovative lobby provides video marketing boards detailing existing and new product offerings and is staffed with professional and experienced bankers.”
Bank OZK entered the North Carolina market in 2001 and now has 24 branches throughout the state, said Terri Guthrie, president of Bank OZK’s North Carolina Division.
“This new location provides a state of the art building, including meeting rooms for community events, and easy access to our clients,” Guthrie said. “In conjunction with the opening of the new Winston-Salem branch, the bank will launch a 250 Reasons to Switch campaign.”
Bank OZK offers a full suite of deposit and loan services at this office, including a wide variety of checking and savings accounts, consumer and business loans, instantly issued debit cards and sophisticated treasury management services for businesses.
“We have a team of knowledgeable commercial bankers who can assist business clients with their loan needs, as well as depository and treasury services,” Carroll said. “With a full menu of banking services provided by consultative bankers, our clients receive service and guidance as to how to best operate their businesses successfully.”
Dottie Graham will manage the new branch and provide retail and small business banking. She has been in banking for eight years and with Bank OZK for the past five.
“Dottie has been with Bank OZK since 2014 and recently transferred to the Winston-Salem branch in anticipation of this opening,” Guthrie said. “She brings years of banking experience along with a strong desire to strengthen the community through both philanthropic endeavors as well as by meeting the specific needs of the Winston Salem market.”
