Emeka and Carrie Anazia are alumni of N.C. A&T

Husband and wife Emeka and Carrie Anazia have released the book “Acing the Undergrad: Your Personal Mentor.”

The two summa cum laude N.C. A&T graduates wrote the book to inspire today’s students to soar academically. According to the authors, students who follow this book’s principles will “ace the undergrad,” and college institutions that adopt their method will gain higher retention and graduation rates among their students.

“Acing The Undergrad: Your Personal Mentor” is based on 10 specific skills, or college fundamentals, that the authors believe must be mastered in order for students to become effective and productive. These college fundamentals address areas such as managing your time, classroom etiquette and expanding your network.

The couple, who married last December, were heavily involved in on-campus activities at A&T – including serving in student leadership and mentorship roles – and worked part time jobs. He graduated with a 3.8 GPA and a degree in industrial supply chain management; she earned a elementary education degree with a 4.0 GPA and went on to earn a MA degree (also with a 4.0 GPA) from Columbia University.
