The scholarship committee of the Winston-Salem Chapter NAACP recently awarded five $1,000 scholarships to five selected students of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System.
The Forsyth County Democratic Women will hold a school supplies drive on Saturday, Sept. 5, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., as a contact-less drop-off collection in The Chronicle’s parking lot, 1300 E. Fifth Street.
