Following the last regular season game of the season on Thursday, the Carver High School girls soccer team heard their fate for playoffs in the Northwest Piedmont 1A conference. They earned a spot in the playoffs, the first time since opening the school in 1936.

Now, the kids of Forsyth County and beyond will have the opportunity to take part in the classic tournament on August 13 at Forsyth Country Day School, 5501 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The West Forsyth Titans didn’t have to look far for their new boys basketball head coach. Former Atkins head coach Marlon Brim was introduced as the new head coach last week during a press conference.
