Church to mark Napper’s anniversary

Rev. Warren C. Napper will celebrate his first anniversary at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, April 28 at 4 p.m.
Napper was installed as pastor on April 22, 2012. He is married to the former Linda Scott, and they are the parents of six children. He attended the Living Epistle Bible College, where he obtained his certificates and an associate’s degree in Theology on May 3, 2008. He is a Third-Degree Mason who was raised to the Sublime Degree at Salem Lodge #139 Prince Hall Mason, where he served as senior deacon in 1998 and 1999.

Napper accepted Christ when he was 14 years old and was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church by his uncle, the late Rev. Dr. Sir Walter Mack Sr. Napper’s concern for mankind everywhere is “that none should be lost.”
Rev. Anthony Hopkins will deliver the morning worship sermon at 11 a.m., and Rev. Darryl Napper of Living Waters Baptist Church will be the guest speaker at the 4 p.m. service. The public is invited to attend. The church is at 1800 N. Liberty St.
