Fresh Fire hosts Youth Conference

Fresh Fire Worship Center, 4306-A Kernersville Rd. in Kernersville, will host its Dare To Be Different Youth Conference 2013 from Sunday, July 21 – Sunday, July 28. The theme of the conference is “TFT: Time 4 Transition,” with its scriptural reference being 2 Timothy 4:1–5.

On Sunday, July 21, Elder Aaron Tharrington from Apostolic House of Deliverance (AHOD) in Durham, will speak at 5 p.m. On Wednesday, July 24 Praise Jam featuring FFWC Praise Team and Praise Dancers, Mischeal Goldsmith and S.O.U.L. Out, Big Boi Hurt with Blessed Entertainment Ministries and other local liturgical dance and worship ministries will perform at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, July 25, Pastor Joshua Vernon from Sloan Lake Community Church in China Grove will speak at 7 p.m. On Friday, July 26, Youth Pastor Andrew Watkins from Emmanuel Baptist Church in Thomasville will speak.

After the service, all youth are invited to a cookout at  the church followed by a skate party at Skate World in Kernersville on 1995 West Mountain Street. Admission to the skate party is $4 per person.

On Sunday, July 28 Youth Pastor Elder John S. Bailey II will close out the conference at the 11 a.m. service. There will be a separate service on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26 for ages 8 and under in the Children’s Church beginning at 7 p.m. with Pastor Albert Haskins and “Power N Da Houz” Youth Ministries. Youth Pastor Elder John and Lady Michlin Bailey are the conference hosts.

Pastor Phillip G. McCloud Sr. and First Lady Michelle McCloud are the host pastors.
