The 19th annual Chili Luncheon for the YWCA’s Hawley House and Project New Start will be held Thursday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gateway YWCA, 1300 S. Main St.

The Hawley House is the only state-licensed residential program in Forsyth County for women recovering from addiction. Project New Start is a Bible study and support group program to reduce recidivism among female inmates.

This year’s event will include a variety of chili and decadent desserts from Bib’s Downtown, Cherries Cafe, Di Lisio’s Italian Restaurant, Firehouse Subs, Foothills Brewery, Graze, Salem Kitchen, Señor Bravo, Triad Community Kitchen, and Village Tavern.

There will also be three raffle prizes – including a David Yurman bracelet, a Coach handbag and four rounds of golf at Bermuda Run with a restaurant gift card. Each prize is valued at more than $400.

Tickets are $15 through Dec. 3 and can be purchased online at www.ywcaws.org or by calling Rosemary Deal at 336-354-1589, extension 234. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $20.
