Winston-Salem’s Gallins Foods is celebrating its 65th anniversary.

Today, the company offers an array of services and products to area businesses, everything from vending items, coffee and water, to catering and corporate food service. When it was founded by Gus and John Gallins in 1948, the company solely provided cigarettes and other items that were distributed through vending machines. The company’s services expanded over the decades to meet the needs of its growing and loyal customer base.

Gallins, which prides itself on “freshness, cleanliness and service,” has a long list of clients, including local corporations like Reynolds American, HanesBrands, BB&T and Novant Health.

Gallins Foods will be celebrating its anniversary all year long through promotions, giveaways, features and special events.
