Gospel legends performing at SECCA
The Blind Boys of Alabama will perform a Christmas show, “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” to close the second season of the Crossroads @ SECCA concert series on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m,
Doors will open at 1 p.m. and the show will begin at 3 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for sale beginning at 1 p.m. A Southern grits bar and cocktail, created by Sundance Plaza Hotel Chef Derrick McCorkle, will be available for purchase before the show.
The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. The Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees have won the National Endowment for the Arts Lifetime Achievement Award and have performed for two presidents in the White House. They are the winners of five Grammy Awards and have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans more than 70 years.
Based on the 2003 Grammy-winning CD of the same name, “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” features The Blind Boys of Alabama in a joyful holiday concert performing holiday hymns, carols and seasonal pop standards, blending material from the CD with other soul and gospel favorites.

Advance ticket sale prices are: $50/VIP, $40/reserve seating, $30/SECCA supporter with reserved seating, $30/general admission and $20/student. Tickets, if available, can be purchased at the door for $40 .
