Psi Phi Chapter Of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has had a reputation for giving to those in need in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County community for many years. The members of the chapter went shopping on Nov. 26 to purchase Thanksgiving dinner groceries for families in our community.

The families were from North Hills Elementary School, The JRams at Carver High School and Child Resource Center Winston-Salem. The Harris Teeter store on Cloverdale Avenue provided price reductions and vouchers that helped with the purchases.

The Thanksgiving food boxes were given out to the families at The Omega Friendship Center on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Chapter Brothers were on hand to welcome the families and Brother Carlos Roseboro extended holiday greetings on behalf of the chapter.

Brother Timothy Smith is Basileus of Psi Phi Chapter. Brother Kenny H. Faulkner is the Social Action Committee Chairman.

Psi Phi Chapter slogan is “Painting Winston-Salem Purple.” This is another activity where the Psi Phi’s are making it happen.
