On Nov. 16, Psi Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held their inaugural Que-Mmunity 5k Run/Walk. The route for the event started and finished at Quarry Park. Out of the 20 runners who participated, the top three finishers received monetary awards.

Many others participated in the walking portion of the event.

First place went to Richard Ferguson, second place went to Randy Whaley, and third place went to Tracie Murphy.

Proceeds from this event will allow the chapter to give scholarships to high school seniors for college assistance and also support other ongoing community projects that Psi Phi Chapter gives back to the Winston-Salem community. This is an event that the chapter hopes to host annually going forward. Brother Chris Redd, Psi Phi Chapter’s social committee chairman, chaired the event.
