Pre-Festival of Books party
Bookmarks – a literary arts organization whose vision is to create a community of passionate readers – will hold a 2013 Festival Preface Party on Tuesday, May 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Salemtowne Retirement Community, 190 Moravian Way.
At the party, authors for the upcoming annual fall Festival of Books, which will be held on Saturday, September 7 in the Downtown Arts District of Winston-Salem, will be announced.
The Preface Party is a free event, open to the public. There is limited space available, however, so reservations should be made by May 15 at http://bookmarks.roundtablelive.org/or via email to gh@bookmarksnc.org. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be offered by Salemtowne as well as wine provided by Raffaldini Vineyards. Giveaways and summer reading lists also will be distributed.
