The Liberty Community Development Corporation (CDC), a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to revitalizing the Liberty Street Corridor, is recruiting for its Fourth Annual Tom Davis ACE (Aviation Career Education) Academy summer camp.

The camp for middle school students will take place from June 17-21. The high school camp will be June 24-28. Both will take place at Prince Ibraham Elementary School.

The camp will focus on the theory of flight, aviation history and aviation careers. It will delve into real world aviation applications, including radio-controlled aircraft and understanding aircraft construction. Students will undertake a design project that involves building and launching a rocket. There will also be field trips, including an opportunity for youngsters to fly in an actual airplane.

Call the Liberty CDC at 336-721-9020 or go to ncaviationeducation.aero to apply and submit your application today for the camp.
