The Lash/Chronicle JV Basketball Tournament has showcased young basketball talent from around the Triad for several years. This Saturday, Dec. 21, the 2019 edition of the tournament will kick off.

For the second year in a row, the Lash/Chronicle Tournament will have two separate brackets, The Lash and The Chronicle brackets. There will be 14 teams in this year’s tournament and the games will be held at Carver High School and Winston Salem Prep.

The Lash Bracket is seeded as follows: No. 1 Mt. Tabor, No. 2 West Forsyth, No. 3 East Forsyth, No. 4 Reynolds, No. 5 Reagan, No. 6 Walkertown, No. 7 Winston-Salem Prep and No. 8 Parkland.

The Chronicle Bracket is seeded as follows: No. 1 Forbush, No. 2 Atkins, No. 3 North Forsyth, No. 4 Lexington, No. 5 T. Wingate Andrews, No. 6 Carver.

The dates for the tournament are Dec. 21, 28 and 30. The start times for the games on Dec. 21 are: 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. All games will be played at Winston-Salem Prep on Dec. 21.

The games on Dec. 28 will be played at both sites. The start time for the games at Carver are: 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. The start times for the games at Prep will be: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

All games played on Dec. 30 will be held at Carver High. The start times for those games are: 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
