40+ Stage Company, supported by a grant from The Shallow Ford Foundation, will offer acting classes for seniors (age 50 and up) at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville. A series of six two-hour classes will be conducted on Thursdays beginning at 2 p.m. Classes are not to prepare participants for the stage (although that has happened), but to help hone their presentation skills, become more comfortable speaking to an audience, and have a better understanding of theatre. The first session is free; the cost for the remaining five classes is $20. John J. Hohn, an accomplished seminar moderator and actor, will lead the group.

Make your Easter “ham” last – six weeks at least – perhaps, a lifetime! Come join the fun and discover your alter ego. Inquire or register in advance by sending your contact information and questions to 40plusstagecompany@gmail.com.

Classes begin on April 4 at 2 p.m. and continue on five consecutive Thursdays. Classes will be held at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center, 7632 Warren Park Drive, Lewisville. The first session is free; tuition of $20 for the remaining five sessions. Some tuition assistance is available if needed. Transportation will be provided at no cost to those lacking transportation. Convenient parking is available at the community center.

For questions or more information, please email John J. Hohn at 40plusstagecompany@gmail.com.

40+ Stage appreciates the support of sponsors The Shallow Ford Foundation; JoBeth Sousa, CPFA, CPWA, CRPC at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Corporation; Blanco-Tackabery, Attorneys and Counsellors at Law; and Made for You Media.
