For Seniors Only!: Volunteers Needed!
Crisis Control Ministry Is Looking for A Few Good Volunteers
By Vicki Jones, Director of Community Outreach and Volunteers
Clients are turned away every day due to lack of volunteers!
Client numbers have been increasing dramatically at Crisis Control. Even though the economy is slowly improving. people still need help with rent/mortgage, utilities, prescription medication, and food. There are too many children that go to bed hungry in Forsyth County.
Please consider volunteering for one of these important positions.
INTERVIEWER Collects information regarding the needs of individual clients through an interview procedure. If we can’t process our neighbors in need, we can’t provide the much-needed services.
PHARMACY ASSISTANT Assists the pharmacist and technicians in filling prescriptions, greets clients, answers the telephone, checks the expiration dates on medications, and stocks shelves.
Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Food Pantry Clerk
Computer Clerk
Special Projects/Events
Prayer Partner
Poverty Simulation Exercise
Administration
