Music Carolina SummerFest to feature Larry & Joe: Live in Concert
Music Carolina SummerFest offers a variety of musical entertainment over the next few weeks at various venues around town.
Based in the Triangle of North Carolina, Larry and Joe are versatile multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters on a mission to show that music has no borders. As a duo they perform a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music on harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, maracas, guitar, upright bass, and whatever else they decide to throw in the van. The program they offer features a distinct blend of their musical inheritances and traditions as well as storytelling about the ways that music and social movements coalesce.
Larry & Joe will perform on Sunday, Sept.15, 7:30 p.m. at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in the Reynolds Place Theatre. Tickets (price before taxes & fees): $25 regular, $35pPremium, $50 VIP (includes pre-show meet & greet reception). For tickets, go to www.intothearts.org and click on Events, Campus Events.
