The Institute for Dismantling Racism (IDR) sponsored a “Unity Vigil” for Winston-Salem on Tuesday night, June 30 at Goler Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church on Patterson Avenue in light of the massacre of nine churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina on June 17.
“We must unite and move our community forward today!” said the Rev. Willard Bass, who leads IDR.
